R.A.F. Jacket
The
RAF Jacket was designed by legendary American aviator pioneer, Leslie
Leroy Irvin, the US Air Ministry approved this jacket in 1932,
As
the altitudes pilots flew got higher the temperature got lower,
reaching sub-zero temperatures,
it was then Irvin created the R.A.F.
Flight Jacket. During WW2 because the jacket was in such high demand
and materials grew scarce,
Irvin had to enlist subcontractors to
assit and started producing his jackets in the UK.
This is where
variations of the style and colour occured including the Battle of
Britian & the Alpha Jacket.
The
RAF Jacket was worn famously by the former Spitfire Pilots of the
Royal British Airforce.

Fantastic quality. Beautifully made and designed. The leather and the sheepskin are perfect and the stitching is immaculate. In all I must say excellent value for money and fast delivery (on 4th working day after order). I used the sizing guide given on the product page. I fall into the L category by 1.5cm. So I ordered 'L' and it fits perfectly and I can wear a normal thickness sweatshirt or pullover under the jacket. Very, very pleased with my acquisition and can categorically recommend

I had several questions so multiple messages and they gladly answered all of them. Just a fantastic jacket lightweight fun to wear and great quality. The R.A.F jacket is very very very ... well made in every way (leather/wool quality, craftsmanship etc.) I used to buy my shearling jacket from diesel and Allsaint as well as Schott. If you are into leather jackets you know I am speaking about £700 to £1900 per jacket. If I want to put it in simple words the noble house allows you to drive a Ferrari while charging you for only a Ford fiesta. Yeah that is right You think I am over exaggerating, but you are wrong. The first jacket I bought from them was a Marlon Brando jacket Cognac colour (£125 see my review for that product) when I was going to buy it I wasn't sure that is the right decision due to the fact the item was coming from Germany and if I had to return it I had to go through lots of hassles. However, I was wrong for £125 they sent me a jacket which was better than my Schott cafe racer. In the last 2 months, I purchased 10 jackets from them which I believe was a bargain for the quality. The customer services LOL unbelievable. Do you believe that I had video call for every jacket that I purchased thanks to Miriam she was my personal customer service that helped me with my purchase, sizing, postage, return and more. I really don't know how to say thank you. But I know I will be a loyal customer to noble house forever.

I bought a XL size U Boot Leather coat last November 2012. It is a first class product, quality black leather, authentic name tags, superb stitching and tremendous retro style. I get admiring looks and comments from all who see it. I want a RAF flying jacket later this year. Workout your sizing properly or you may send it back for changing. My father was a british flyer I had a photo of him wearing a flight jacket like this one I have bought, it is wonderfuly made and brilliantly warm.

I have had this nice jacket for a year now, and I only wear it on the very coldest winter days on my bike. It IS warm, warm, warm. I almost feel invulnerable in it.
Problem is, as with the leather pants I also got from N H, the sizing is all wrong. My "XL" fits fine in the shoulders and chest, but the arms are intended, apparently, for a gibbon. They were so long I had to cut off the last 3 inches or so, and use a special leather glue to attach the folded sleeve ends to the rest of the sleeve. My arm length is 34 ", which is long).
Also. while there are zippers closing the sleeve ends, they are still way too open for cold weather riding and I have made some "velcro" straps I wrap around the sleeve ends to seal out the cold wind and allow my glove gauntlets to go over. That works fairly well.
The jacket is exceptionally well made, and of the highest quality; as with my horse pants, Noble House has a problem with correct sizing.

Leslie Leroy Irvin came up trumps when he designed this little beauty.
I've had mine for a while now, waiting for the colder weather.
Finally it has arrived, well the snow has, and the jacket is excellent.
Seriously warm, and what a collar for when the wind gets up.

I've just got RAF jacket. Very nice. I'm very pleased. Guys from Noble House have done splendid jacket. They help me to choose my size too. Jacket is very like the one on the picture. May be the fur is just a little darker.

Noble House is top of the line! This jacket is much better in person than it is in the pictures and nothing less than AMAZING! What a work of art!! I love the Honey colored wool!!
