1927 the Classic A-1 jacket was introduced to flying personnel of the
US Army Air Force.
Since then, the basic demands of a flight
jacket have not changed, protection from the wind and elements,

thin fitting but comfortable shape made up of robust materials.

How to Measure Correctly
Measure your chest circumference around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal around your body. The tape should fit comfortably without being too tight.
For flight jackets, leather jackets, and sheepskin jackets, we recommend allowing some extra room for comfort, especially if you plan to wear a sweater underneath.
