USAAF A3, Sheepskin Trousers
The
US Army Air Corps designed the A-3 sheepskin flight pants to match
the B-3 jacket. One could only receive the pants with the jacket as a
matching set.
The A-3 trousers were made out of the same materials as
the jackets and both were specifically designed to be worn in extreme
low temperatures at high altitudes.
We were able to successfully
reproduce these special A-3 trousers and in doing so you can now call
a piece of clothing history your own.
