As this was to Berlin, she had to cover an incredible 450 kilometres more and then got caught in a bad weather front shortly before her destination (Lufthansa was already no longer flying).
* At 03.30 she took off from Gleiweitz, at 06.00 she had already flown over 5 countries and at 09.20 she had already reached the Bosporus on the Asian side, where she landed, refuelled in Yesilköy and after a 1 hour break she set off for home.

She wanted to fly from Germany to Asia and back again in 24 hours! She therefore had 2 larger additional fuel tanks installed in her Messerschmitt!

Despite these difficulties, she landed in Berlin at 18.08 after 3470 kilometres!
