German Channel-Pants (Trousers)
German Channel-Pants (Trousers)
Kanalhose, Cotton
Version Me 262
The Channel-Pants were produced for the Luftwaffe, usually in the colors blue
or sahara beige.
The so-called channel pants are kept
up by suspenders, and has an attached "belt" on the waist. The long
zipper, which reaches from the waistline to deep down the crotch, is held securely
closed by a snap-fastener feature on the waistline above the zipper. The ends
of the pant legs can be kept tight by a zipper on the inside- or through the
zipper the pant legs can also be "opened" and worn over boots.

closed through snap-fasteners, keeps the flare gun and flare gun ammo secure
(which are put in a special holders).
2. vertical pocket with zipper
3. thigh pocket, also for flare gun ammo, maps, etc.
4. vertical pocket with zipper
5. "gun" pocket, closable with snap-fasteners
6. holder with snap-fasteners for extra air cylinder

The seat of the pants is sewn with
a double layer. This way the "pant-seat" is extra durable and less
likely to break through.
These pants are very rare and
unbelievably complex to produce. Our best tailor needs 3 whole working days
in order to sew these pants - sewing in 6 zippers especially takes its time.
The pants can also be worn over your
normal jeans/pants.
