The jackets are modeled after
the jacket designs of
Leslie Irvin. Eventhough
Irvin was an american, his
jackets were produced in a
factory which Irvin built
in 1926 in England. The
jackets were not lined with
wadding, but were made
from sheep wool (which was
worn with the wool on the
inside). The sheep wool served
as a natural isolation layer,
and kept the pilots nice and
warm.
We produce these jackets from
the best sheep wool available,
with a hight of min.
15 mm. Since the jackets
are completely hand made,
every jacket is a high-quality
unique one-of-a-kind.
